In few words, this is the story of ELKOTech Romania.

We are a Romanian-Latvian shareholders company, operating on Romanian IT distribution market as a member of ELKO Group. We are specialized in the distribution of a wide variety of IT equipments: computer components, peripheral devices, mobile solutions, servers and networking solutions.

The history of ELKOTech Romania begins in 1999 when, at the initiative of Romanian businessmen, company called Total Distribution System (TDS) is founded. In September 1999, TDS become a part of ELKO Group and changes its name to ELKOTech Romania S.A.; the first distribution agreements with prestigious IT producers are signed.

An important milestone for us is the partnership with Intel, signed in 2000. Thus, ELKOTech Romania became an authorized distributor in Romania for the entire range of Intel products: processors, motherboards, servers and networking. Several other partnerships with famous IT producers followed: Western Digital, Seagate, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Sony, Teac, Gigabyte, Kingmax, A-Data, D-Link, Axis, Chenbro, Microdowell, Lite-On.

ELKOTech Romania addresses the market through its partner network: system integrators and resellers, more than 1,000 companies today.
